Disable Firefox Private Browsing
Great news! This will get rid of it!!!

Open up your hard drive (c://) through the 'start; run' route. go into program files, go to mozilla firefox, then components.

NOW, make sure you are searching for all files under 'files of type'.

Then, you will be able to see "nsPrivateBrowsingService.js"

Right click and DELETE!!!

I did this on my desktop and then of course tried to go into private browsing mode. No response....I tried again, just to be sure.....still no response. The option is still listed under 'tools' but nothing happens when you click on it. Just make sure you delete it from your recycle bin, as well. All of our students will be just that much safer on the WWW. Not sure if you can do this for IE, but it works for Firefox.
